Who we are

This website is run by Sun Signs Limited, trading as Power RAX (company number 04743441), Wakefield Place, Sandgate, Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 6HT. We are responsible for your personal data (the “controller”). Questions about your data: hello@powerrax.co.uk.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, billing and delivery addresses, email address, phone number if you give it, what you ordered, and the name or text on your personalised stickers (including any logo you upload).
• Payment: card payments are handled by Stripe. We see the payment result and the last four digits of the card, never your full card details.
• Messages: anything you send us by email.
• Technical data: your IP address and basic browser information, recorded by our web host and payment provider for security and fraud prevention.

Why we use it

• To make, deliver and support your order. This is necessary to carry out our contract with you.
• To keep accounts and tax records. The law requires this.
• To prevent fraud and keep the website secure, and to answer your questions. These are our legitimate interests.

We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

Who sees it

• The Sun Signs team, who make and send your order.
• Stripe, our card payment provider.
• Zoho, our email provider (data held in the EU).
• Intuit QuickBooks, our accounting software.
• Our website hosting provider.
• Royal Mail or the courier delivering your order, who receive your name and delivery address.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK (for example in the EU or the USA). Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep order and accounting records for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, because tax law requires it. Emails are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your order or query. If you create an account on our site, we keep it until you ask us to delete it.

Cookies

We only use cookies that the website needs to work: to remember what is in your basket, to keep you signed in if you have an account, and cookies set by Stripe to prevent payment fraud. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our pages also load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to have it transferred to you. Email hello@powerrax.co.uk and we will respond within one month. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it, such as accounts.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
